THE ACTION PLAN

Objective

The main objective of implementing the WhatsApp chatbot was to simplify the food ordering process, provide customers with a user-friendly interface to customize their orders, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

HOW WE DID IT

Implementation

Menu Customization: Irish Catering designed an interactive menu within the WhatsApp chatbot, enabling customers to choose their preferred options for different categories like starch, protein, and greens. The chatbot presents customers with clear choices, offering various dishes within each category.

Easy Order Placement: Once customers select their desired options from the menu, the chatbot allows them to review their customized order before confirming it. Customers could also specify additional requirements or dietary preferences, such as allergies or special instructions.

Seamless Integration: The WhatsApp chatbot seamlessly integrated with Irish Catering’s backend systems, enabling automatic order processing and coordination with the kitchen and delivery teams. This integration ensured a smooth flow of information and minimized manual intervention, reducing the chances of errors or delays.

Order Tracking: After placing an order, customers received an order confirmation message via WhatsApp. The chatbot provided an STK push to allow payments directly to their Till number. This feature added transparency and convenience, allowing customers to plan their schedule accordingly.

Personalized Recommendations: The chatbot utilized customer preferences and past orders to offer personalized recommendations. By analyzing previous orders, the bot could suggest new dishes or promotions that aligned with the customer’s taste and preferences, increasing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
