Co-operative Bank Kenya was looking to grow usage of their different payment cards by customers.
- Come up with a creative content campaign idea that can showcase the campaign and highlight areas of usage of the cards (Shopping, Fueling, restaurants etc)
- Position their card payment options as the coolest, most convenient way to pay.
We came up with a mascot, dubbed “JUMBO” to carry the identity of the cards campaign;
- We went forward and used Kenyan swahili as the tone of voice for our campaign Big Idea for relatability purposes.
- We positioned card payment as the coolest, most convenient way to pay by showcasing contextual practical use cases of the card
- Besides using creative copy and images, we came up with a Digital Video Commercial that would help bring our idea to life.
